Nearly a year in the making, a draft of the 2017 West Haven, CT Plan of Conservation & Development (POCD) is now available for download. Your participation in this process was critical, and the draft has a section that summarizes all of the public engagement that took place and how it influenced the direction of the POCD.
More than 160 pages, the POCD covers a lot of ground. We encourage you to take the time to read through the draft plan and jot down any comments, questions, suggestions, ideas, or corrections. You can e-mail them to email@example.com in advance of the Public Hearing, which will take place in late June.
Click here to download the draft POCD directly from the City’s website. The PDF file (which is 14 mb in size) will most likely open within your Web browser window. After this happens, we suggest that you download the file to your computer or other device by looking near the top right of the window and clicking on the downward pointing arrow. When the file downloads to your computer, you can open it.
Should you wish to read the document on your screen, the PDF contains hyperlinks to facilitate clicking through the various parts of the POCD. You can also print out the document on your home or work printer. It is designed to be printed double-sided, but if you do not have this capability, one-sided printing is OK. Note that the document is more than 160 pages long.
If you have any difficulty downloading the file, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. Hard copies of the draft POCD will also be available at the Main Library after Memorial Day Weekend.
